As ranked by Forbes magazine. The Rust Belt is pretty much the entire list.

The big loser? Ohio, with four cities on the list: Youngstown, Canton, Dayton and Cleveland. Runner-up is Michigan, with Detroit and Flint.

How can Dayton be on the list? They have the most popular, successful, single A minor league team in all of pro baseball and a new downtown stadium tied to mixed-use development. They were one of our three models for successful “catalyst” projects and the only one of the three with similar climate and geography to Fort wayne.

    Obviously, Forbes is wrong.
